Job Responsibilities

The successful Electrician will provide electrical repairs and maintenance across CCHA properties. Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out electrical repairs and fault finding.
Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
Performing electrical testing and inspections.
Completing remedial electrical works.
Carrying out rewiring and installation work.
Supporting emergency and out-of-hours repairs when required.
Working on responsive repairs, empty homes, and planned maintenance programmes.
Completing suitable multi-skilled work where required.
Recording completed jobs accurately.
Providing a professional and customer-focused service.

Job Requirements

Previous experience carrying out electrical work in domestic properties.
Experience working in occupied customers’ homes.
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation and Maintenance Services or an equivalent qualification.
Level 3 electrical qualification is desirable.
Ability to work independently and manage individual jobs.
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to respond positively to emergency repair requirements.
Commitment to high-quality, first-time-fix work.
Good customer service skills.
Willingness to carry out appropriate multi-skilled duties.
Valid driving licence.
